Seagrass

Seagrasses cover the sea floor in dense patches. Most of the seagrass species cluster in seagrass colonies and form seagrass meadows.

The individual plants produce small bulbs, which are edible.

Nutrition

Due to small amounts of toxic compounds often found in seagrass, it is not recommended for a 2 mililast sea creature to exceed 250 microlasts of seagrass per day in their diet.

Seagrasses are a viable source of nutrition for sea creatures.
