What data we collect?

When visiting, this site only collects your IP address.

When registering for and using KaimlaNET authorization and payment system, it also collects your e-mail address and user-agent string.

What purpose does the data collection serve?

We need to have the site NOT turn into complete mess, so we need to yeet bad users from it. Therefore we need to keep track of users somehow, in order to seperate okay users from bad users.

The KaimlaNET service collects your e-mail address, so that we can send you password reset codes, contact you for security purposes or when absolutely necessary for providing the service, or send you spam, if you agree to it.

What are our legitimate interests?

We do not want to be DDoS'ed into oblivion, and therefore need to identify potentially abusive users and restrict their access to this website.

Processing your e-mail address is a necessary component of the KaimlaNET service. Storing your user-agent string is necessary to provide security.

Recipients and data transfer.

Your data does not get transfered out of the server which processes your requests and therefore does not get transfered outside of EU (who even cares about your IP address, just use a proxy).

Your data is not shared with third-party services, unless you request it, by paying for KaimlaTokens, or by connecting your KaimlaNET account to other services.

Data retention period.

If you are not using KaimlaNET, your data is retained until the server gets restarted, which happens in intervals between a couple of minutes and a couple of hours.

So your data gets wiped at least every couple of hours.

If using the KaimlaNET service, your data is stored until your KaimlaNET account is terminated and the termination is finalized.

Rights and stuff.

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You also have the right to object to or restrict certain types of processing, lodge complaints with authorities
