What is greeting card image generation? We create 3D computer animation templates. Then we receive images from you and edit them into the animations. Finally, we can assemble the final animations. This allows anyone with a copy of TuxPaint or a similar painting application to customize a 3D animation. What about copyright? You may only upload images that you have the rights to use. By uploading images, you give use permission to temporarily store and process your images. We do not claim any rights to the images produced by the service -- if you have all of the rights to the inputs, you retain all of the rights to the outputs. What is the cost made of?The cost consists of art costs and generation costs. For the most part, the cost is directly tied to a specific template. It can be decreased by requesting encoding in fewer formats and providing smaller input images. Some animations are simpler and templates for them can be produced much faster than others, and so they are less expensive. The generation cost mostly depends on the resolution of the animation template and how many frames it has. Still images have only a single frame, so they are the least expensive. Due to costs related to storage and memory required during processing the input images, encoding and storing the output images, we also have a small cost for that. How are the images generated? The animation templates are generated using Whitted–style raytracing. They are stored as a list of bytecode instructions required to generate the final pixel color value for every pixel, in every frame of an animation. When generating, your images are loaded into the image generation virtual machine and the bytecode instructions for each pixel are executed. Then the final frame is encoded in the format of your choosing. Was any artificial intelligence used in the making of this? The animation and image templates were done 100% by hand. Some parts of the website code were generated by an LLM, before being thoroughly reviewed and revised by hand. No AI generated imagery was used anywhere on this site. |
